Felt Birds

Over the last couple of days I've been getting familiar with my new sewing machine, especially the embroidery stitches, a novelty to me! I wanted to make myself some bird decorations and utilise some of the embroidery stitches in the process. The birds I made from red and white felt with red and white stitching, I think this gives them a Scandinavian feel. The birds are like samplers for my embroidery stitches. Your birds are beautiful! I agree, the embroidery stitches totally give them a Scandinavian feel and works perfectly for the holidays.

Credit where credit is due, I appreciate how well designed the pattern is Michael, simple, minimal but the form is just perfect

Beautiful birds and yes they do look very Scandinavian
