Pom Pom Rugs

These are nice ideas to make use of pom poms. These rugs look so cosy. The top rug is from a book called Craftivity The rug below is a free pattern on the Lion Brand website
This rug idea is so fun and seems to be a simple project! I want to make one in cream all one color.

Im going on holiday in teh Summer Holidays to Eygpt for 2weeks and i cant go out from 12-3 so i would love to put the rug together then! My rooms Skyy Blue so anyyy ideas 4 what colourzz my rug shud be? xx
Oooooooh, comfy! I could just curl up on that in front of a roaring fire with a nice glass of red! I don't know if I would have the patience to make it - perhaps if I got each of my pupils at school to make one pompom each I'd have enough!

Oh, sorry, I'm mixing up reality with my dream house. Now I need to wait till an old lady gets crushed under the weight of her old spare balls of wool and her family donates them to the charity shop. This will happen just when I'm passing and i'll be half way there...
You made me laugh Claire. The charity shop idea will only lead to disappointment. Your rug will be 100% acrylic or worse nylon. Your palette will be restricted to school jumper grey and baby pastels. How quickly a dream can become a nightmare!
